The July computer class went great! We had 7 students who received their Write to Read email ID cards at the end of it.
Since Yahoo is testing out a new format for email, the group had to learn how to deal with bugs that caused problems getting into email. But everyone did fine! We figured out a way to get around the problem, and learned to be patient with the computer and not give up.

The free typing program was a big hit, as was a fun website to practice mouse skills. Check them out yourself in the "helpful web links" section.
We had 2 great new volunteers helping out this time with Krista and Kiran: Cole Miller and Shuming Chiang. Thanks to both of them! Both Cole and Shuming will continue offering their help in the fall by doing 1-1 tutoring with anyone who missed out on these fun summer classes.
